Mont Ventoux
Our campsite enjoys unbeatable views over Mont Ventoux. From its 1912-metre summit, the so-called “Giant of Provence” dominates Provence, the Luberon and the Rhône Valley.
Heralded by the poet Frédéric Mistral, Mont Ventouxoffers a range of hiking, horse riding and mountain bike trails through superb pine and oak forests. It is free from any urbanisation and spreads over a surface area of 25,000 hectares.
Regularly featured in the programme of the Tour de France (14 July in 2013), making the long 25km ascent is a real feat achieved every year by numerous cycling enthusiasts.
